Thanks for all the kind words. I couldn't care less what people on the facebook think. I wouldn't even know about them if my brother didn't show me. It's pretty rare that I catch a fish and even more rare that I keep one. If I ate them, I'd keep them all. (And probably starve to death!) My Uncle and I had a good time catching that fish and FatFishSlayer and his girlfriend had a good time eating it. Facebook douche nozzles don't even register on my enjoyment index. I'll be out in a couple days looking for a bigger one. (The fish called, they're not afraid.)

Thats a pretty funny facebook thread there. I wonder how often that dope gets down to willow and puts in the time that you've put in? My guess is never. Now you should go have a multiple 20lb fish day and kill them all see what all the resident experts have to say about that picture..... _________________

They start that sht a few months ago, with largemouth.. saying that all LMB need to be released.. but the stripers were a different story, you can keep all you want of those! but now their saying that big stripers need to be released?!? What, suddenly stripers are endangered? Give me a break!
They also don't realize that game & fish keep up on that sht, on occasions giving shock Therapy to bypassing fish!
besides, if there was anything to their BS story, there wouldn't ANY big ones left, AT ALL!
Especially with all the big fish Alan and some of you guys have caught in the last 20yrs.

SAVE THE STRIPERS! SAVE THE STRIPERS! SAVE THE STRIPERS! oh wait I meant strippers.....
If you are going to keep a fish for eating who cares what anyone thinks. I only keep fish regardless of species if I know someone wants them to eat or they are going to die because of the way they were hooked and they would die anyways.
The 44lb'r i caught fed a party of 14-17 people. In my opinion that wasn't a waste of a fish, especially in these times. _________________ "What are the fish biting on?" answer "the end of my line"
