I have a Motor Guide 767 (67lb thrust) electric trolling motor that consistently blows the inline fuses when operated in high speed and the setting just below high speed, while in 24 volt mode. I can't seem to figure it out on my own (electronics isn't my strength) and I'm looking for some help and advice. Thanks! _________________ Keith
First thing...Make sure you have the proper size fuse. Second..Check ALL of your connections (at the switch, battery, wire nuts, etc). A loose connection will increase amp draw. Replace any frayed wire or bad connections. Also, did you change the prop on the motor to a different size/type? This may increase the load on the motor.
