Down at Willow Beach there are weeds everywhere. I've been going down there for 25 years and I never seen weeds until just a few years ago. The weeds are like in "Texas and the south called hydrilla.
The government and the tree huggers planted the weeds down there so those suckers would have places to hide. The place is infested everywhere with weeds now, horrible!
It was never like this. And the suckers are mostly gone too and the striper numbers are down. They killed them off some way.

Those weeds grow really tall right there around the boat ramp Ive noticed. The first year I was there in 2009 there was zero weeds anywhere near the docks or floating on the surface. I agree they are getting worse each year, they will probably say low water or global warming is to blame.
