Looking at the fish report on the AZDGF website.. and came across this:

WILLOW BEACH – Try spinner baits along with cut anchovies for stripers. If you fish Willow beach and are having luck, please e-mail me at -gcummins@azgfd.gov so I can share your successes with others. Scheduled to be stocked the week of Oct. 17.

The mohave newspaper says they're planting trout down in laughlin/bullhead this week. Same with the NDOW fish report. I'm gonna say misprint. _________________

A case of wishful thinking, I guess. :)
I was actually searching for info on the trout stocking down there in BHC/Laughlin.. was hoping that this batch is a little bigger than the last plant. Personally, I didn't pay into azdgf to run a bug abatement program. If bhc/laughlin wants to buy little trout to eat the bugs, so be it. but the az stocking need to be decent catchable fish like they always have used.
BTW,anyone else find it odd that their (Az) buying the trout from a trout farm in Colorado instead of using fish from their hatcheries?
Not complaining... just find it odd.
