Hey Allan, I was just curios as to whats the biggest lure you ever made? be it for sale or just for yourself to see if something REALLY huge would work.

Knowing myself, If I had your talent, I probably tried one about the size of a baseball bat. haha

I have personally seen him pull out a 16" lure but I think he made an 18" lure for a customer who fishes for giant lake trout.

Well, since you asked, yes, I did make one out of a baseball bat.

It was huge. I took it to Silverwood to see if it worked and yes it did. Around 1996 maybe....

It took about 20 feet to get it to swim and I had to go about 5 mph, but it swam great.

The lure today is in a tackle store if you want to see it. It is at the Fishin Fools in Chatsworth Ca. google it...
